Darryl is a licensed psychotherapist with over thirty years experience helping people with stressful life challenges. He specializes in treating children and adolescents with problems of inattention and poor academic performance (ADHD), Autism Spectrum / Asperger's, panic / anxiety, depression, and sleep difficulties. Jim is a retired Coast Guard officer who received his Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling from UW-Stout in 1993. He is an approved clinical supervisor for outpatient programs for chronic mental illness and his practice incorporates the "wraparound" model of mental health care, which involves broad participation on treatment teams that include schools, other providers, family members, etc. Jim seeks to establish very collaborative working relationships with his clients, keeping them actively involved in all information/decisions in order to further their progress.
